Tracker Installation Instructions for Version 5.5.4 (Evaluation)

Before installing ProblemTracker, please verify that you have a (web) server machine that meets the ProblemTracker system requirements and that the required software (web server, database drivers, etc.) has already been installed on that machine.

If you are installing ProblemTracker for the first time, please follow the instructions in one of the two columns below (Install from Internet or Install from CD), then continue with Step A.

If you started your evaluation with ProblemTracker version 5.5.3 and are now upgrading to version 5.5.4, please follow the Instructions for 5.5.3 to 5.5.4 Upgrade, then continue with Step A.

There are two products available for evaluation download: ProblemTracker and ProblemTracker Enterprise Edition. You can only install one of these on your evaluation (web) server machine. If you are unsure of which one to use, we recommend that you install ProblemTracker Enterprise Edition as it includes all of the features in the standard edition. You can also review the summary of product features (which includes a comparison chart of the two versions) to help you decide which one to install.
